This work emerges from an exploration of matrescence and domestic space as sites of bodily transformation. Its softened contours echo the shifting boundaries between mother and child and the body and shelter. The piece explores nurture as a quiet, physical act, the weight of holding, the intimacy of nursing, and the slow transformation of identity within domestic space. The work reflects on the quietness of life while nursing, and the ways care reshapes the body, the home, and the self.
