Porcelain (fired and unfired), steel plate

144 x 3 x 4 in.

366 cm x 8 cm x 10 cm

Untitled features 100 porcelain icosahedrons, all cast from the same mold and aligned on a steel plate. Though identical in origin, each form bears the marks of variation—some are fired, others unfired; some cracked, others intact. These subtle differences, shaped by time, touch, and firing, become a quiet study in probability. The work reflects on how randomness intersects with intention, and how the smallest shifts in process can lead to vastly different outcomes. Uniformity gives way to individuality, echoing the unpredictable paths formed by the accumulation of seemingly minor decisions or accidents.
