This work transforms a ubiquitous playground structure into an object of memory and absence. The swing set, a form tied to childhood play and collective nostalgia, is wrapped entirely in red yarn.

The act of covering recalls how memory clings to form: how the body recalls touch even when the motion is stilled, and how objects hold traces of those who once animated them. By rendering the swing unplayable, the work invites viewers to consider how memory lives not only in what remains present but also in what has been lost, suspended, or obscured.
