Tub translates the quiet intimacy of a bathroom into textured form. Using orthographic projections of adjacent walls, Hsieh creates orthographic impressions that recall both architectural elevations and personal memory. Built up with DryDex spackle—a material tied to repair—the surface becomes sculptural and tactile. This familiar, utilitarian compound is repurposed to explore themes of touch, domestic care, and the ongoing process of making and remaking space.
